The Japanese Sega is negotiating the purchase of the Finnish Rovio Entertainment , studio that created Angry Birds . According to the North American newspaper “The Wall Street Journal”, the European company admitted, in a statement, the conversations with the Japanese. The American newspaper found that the video game giants are willing to pay one billion dollars (at the current exchange rate, around R$ 4.91 billion). Rovio's move is part of a strategic review that began in February this year. In January, the mobile game developer had already received a proposal of 683 million euros (R$ 3.7 billion) from Playtika Holding Corp, an Israeli company. The conversations, however, did not evolve and the negotiations were ended.
